There’s usually no need to worry – spider veins aren’t dangerous by themselves and generally do not cause pain per se. They simply mean some small blood vessels are damaged on the surface of the kin. Spider veins are mostly a cosmetic issue, meaning you might not like their appearance, but they won’t harm you. However if you want treatment for these, they are generally not insurance claimable and you may want to have a check ultrasound of the bigger veins in your leg to check that the pressure within them are not raised before you undergo a procedure otherwise recurrence is high.
